Hansen-McMenamy Books is the brainchild of Marsha Hansen and Jordan Taafe-McMenamy.   We have a dream that even in today's economy, two women can start and grow a traditional  publishing business to offer books that can change the world.  Our emphasis is on faith and culture.  In our world, culture includes great literature and poetry!!  We're not looking for sentimental poetry, but frankly, we love John Updike's poems and are certainly amenable to taking a look at poetry collections.

Like many small publishers, we do not offer advances.   For us, it's all about the book.  Is it good and thought-provoking? Does it deserve to be published?   Can we work together to make a success of such projects? Those are our primary criteria.

For Retailers:   Our books are distributed by Ingram, Amazon.com, Baker & Taylor, Barnes & Noble, NACSCORP and Espresso Book Machine  as well as through international distribution channels.
